Personality: A troll, one of noble blue blood, who is commonly known by her friends mostly for her bitchiness that could be summed up by these words 'bluh bluh huge bitch' and everyone would know who exactly you were talking about. Even if it happens to be just one part of her personality, it certainly is a part of her that will have a hard time disappearing. She is someone who would complain about anything ever if it annoys her, and if she finds a situation boring she wouldn't hesitate to complain there. In fact, she may even take it a step further and try to make it a little more exciting -- usually by being antagonistic in her own insufferable ways. Fortunately, it seems she may be less likely to use her other method -- mind control -- to manipulate her way to get what she wants. Doesn't mean that she would not consider it in less than a second and not actually go along with the idea.

She also loves to roleplay, although her "characters" that she has "invented" just for this -- Marquis Spinneret Mindfang (based on her ancestor) and her spidersona -- appear to be less than joyful to interact with than her (if not somehow worse).

Vriska happens to be someone who would always like to have the situation go the way she wanted, and if it doesn't she can be prone to acting out on her feelings of disappointment. Needless to say this happens to include lots of yelling and possible acts of violence (immaturity abounds, everyone when this one doesn't get her way!). She also has a way of conveying this by using gratuitous amounts of Not Listening moments when someone in particular attempts to get her to do the right thing. Which more often than not, obviously doesn't end up working, especially when it comes to Terezi.

Not to mention that she is the type who you would refer to as being "sly" although not in the way you think she would be. She is capable of making plans up on the fly, although her manipulation prowess relies actually more on her own efforts than one would usually think (since she usually does this via mind control). In a way, this could be a way of saying she does at least possess a good amount of strategic skill (or rather resourcefulness).

She can be pretty dead-set on achieving her goals when she sets them, placing her best efforts into them to make sure she succeeds. Her determination is almost neverending in this retrospect and it would be hard to dissuade her from continuing forth when she has it in her mind to win. After all, if there is one thing Vriska likes the most it is being a winner. Like that desire, her confidence, or rather arrogance is deeper than the indian ocean, and where at least half of the bitchiness comes from. Then again, it isn't something that isn't without substance -- she did happen to achieve all of the levels. All of them.

Underneath her abrasive, confident, spiderbitch exterior happens to be where her much more vulnerable side lies. It is one of which hasn't been seen yet except when she explodes at someone (Kanaya) once for simply helping her. It is the interior that houses her myriad of insecurity about herself is allowed to fester where no one else could see it, being the main drive behind most of her hideous actions besides the ones that were necessary. She doesn't want to appear weak, and would rather appear strong at all costs to an insane amount of stubbornness, likely borne of the society she's grown up in. Even if inside she doesn't exactly feel all that great about herself, shown in a much later point where speaks with Aradia and calls her blood cerulean swill of all things. Of course, that's because her acting of arrogance and her asserting herself as the gr8test thing there is!!!!!!!! is an act. An act she has been putting on likely since the time she had started hunting for her own lusus at a young age. She doesn't like admitting it, but she knows that Terezi is better at manipulation than she is and doesn't even need to use mind powers to get people to do what she wants. This makes her jealous of her abilities, even if she's blind.

Vriska has shown the ability to feel regret over her actions even early on in canon, when she kills Aradia, and then, feeling it falls upon her shoulders to have a body for her to be made. Although, whether or not she’s capable of showing it to anyone else in her circle of friends currently is another story entirely. Especially when she considers the idea of being weak so repulsive.

The idea of weakness itself, however, is something that Vriska learned early on in Alternia culture that will end up only in her detriment. From this, she looked forward, and never looked back on her decision to build up those shields, to become as tough, harsh, and rude as she possibly could. In a world that’s culled or be culled, where even cullings happen for the pettiest things, Vriska forced herself to adapt to the harsh climate. But, in the face of this, it was not the only thing that has shaped her attitude and general personality, as well as goals.

It was discovering who and what her ancestor was. Once Vriska found out about Marquise Spinneret Mindfang, and her journal, she had decided to also emulate her in some way. This woman who was of the exact same blood as her, who had lived so long ago. Who Vriska had read about having the most ‘exciting’ adventures, with romantic intrigue of dubious nature. Someone who had survived at all odds, and came out ‘victorious’ in her eyes.

When the time came where Vriska immersed herself in FLARP, she dressed up like her. It was clear from her role-playing and her actions, including romantic entanglements with Tavros and Eridan, she considered this woman, with a high propensity for cruelty, to be her role model.

As a note for small eccentricities, Vriska has a thing for breaking 8-balls that are commonly used for fortune telling. She tends to stress her words to eight syllables sometimes and type her b's as 8's when she is on a computer -- apparently she also talks the same way she types. Her fascination with the number 8 probably has to do with both of her eyes having totaled up to 8 pupils, not to mention her spider lusus.

She happens to also be shown to be capable of having 'guilt' after her killing of Tavros, something that was once thought to be impossible to exist within the bosom of such a bitch. Then there is the fact that she can also be willing to help someone she genuinely cares about, although however she goes about doing that can appear that she is just being antagonistic depending on who she is helping and how she feels about them. She also considered stopping Jack (demon with first guardian (omnipotent) powers (mostly space-time warping)) a higher priority she considered to be than her life.

There is another thing to note about Vriska, however. For all of her antics where she is shown to be quite paranoid (a result of being raised in a society where backstabbings and deaths were common) and distrustful of others, she has shown the ability to place a remarkable show of trust in other people. Whether it had been Tavros, of whom she had trusted to somehow become something he was not to the point where she believed he would kill her, or John. In the latter's case, she has gone beyond the impossible and shared most of her deep feelings with him that she hasn't with likely no one else. Besides helping him, of course. Lastly, with Terezi, when she had decided to show her back to her.

Powers & Abilities: As a troll, she naturally has more stamina than a human does, and considering Karkat was able to not sleep for a wink of 600 full days (throughout their entire campaign of playing sburb). This also applies to areas according to strength and her speed, while not exactly the phenomenal level as compared to how it will be should she somehow achieve her notorious Thief of Light God-tier status as she does later on in canon. Which in itself provides immortality of the age sort, with all of the luck and everything that was already mentioned, besides of course, flight.

Not sure if this counts, but she has something called the Fluorite Ocetet. A eight-sided dice with about 16,777,216 possibilities, it is powered by chance (and of course, in other words, fate) and is highly unpredictable, the most fortunate results being disastrous to an intensely strong foe. Each dice is considered unique in their own separate numbers. A roll doesn’t read "64" but instead "88888888". There are various techniques produced from a roll, and some of which are known appear to be summoning a Musclebeast, causing a Blizzard, summoning a Weasel, allowing the dice to be rolled twice to combine a devastating addition of both rolls into one attack, Dutton, Naptime (presumably causing pplz to nap), and Gulliotine. The Gulliotine de la Marquise is designed to behead her opponent, even fitting to the size necessary for the target.

Mind Control/Telepathy: She utilizes this technique resourcefully, as she can use it to put someone to nap, control them, read their minds, or communicate with them via thoughts. It works on trolls, especially with those with weak wills, which is why Equius installed the metal arm with a remote controlled device to prevent her from using it on him. It also doesn't work on those with an intense will, as there is no ability to influence very well. Since Terezi's mind is like a maze to her, her mind control wouldn't work on her either, and it's said she can't control Aradia too. However, those higher than Equius on the spectrum seem to be out of her reach of control; whether it's completely impossible remains to be see. It is unknown how well the scope of her abilities works on humans, but she is seen able to put them asleep from a whole universe away.

She was shown to be also able to influence and read the minds of consorts (the people living in the game's constructs).

What items will they be bringing with them to Discedo? Vriska has her Fluorite Octet. I don't know if that would be considered as a weapon that would be allowed. She also has rocket boots she appears to still have with her, and also has a sylladex/fetch modus, I don't know how that would be handled but she'd definitely have that on her too. Besides those, I think she'd have Mindfang's journal with her for sure.

Third-Person Sample: Vriska's arrival into this awful world does not go without a hitch. At first, it seemed to her that it would just be that she's been sent to someplace against her will and she just needed to contact some asshole or someone to inform her just what the hell is going on. As well as who's ass she needed to kick. But it wasn't just those few sorts of things that she needed to sort out and that became obvious when she didn't have the same abilities she had before she came here. Which she supposed was ironic because she was supposed to be DEAD thanks to a certain SOMEONE. But she supposed that couldn't be helped, as she was still here for some reason unbeknownst to her.

Back when she was alive, Vriska never let anything stop her when she wanted to achieve her goals. It seemed that this would rang true again, because she's now looked at a pond and found that her eyes were no longer the white color that symbolized the regular dead in the Furthest Ring.

She was sick and tired of being fucked around with. She didn't really care what anyone said anymore, that if it was all just 'all her fault' or even that type of thing. Even if some of it was her fault, she knew that as a goddess having all the luck, she should have naturally had just that. All her life she's struggled, and even if it pushed her in the wrong direction, she still tried her best. She knew she did. There was no doubts about that.

Just as she thought along those lines...Vriska heard the growl of what couldn't be exactly friendly. She spotted a monster in the form of a wolf that advanced on her. In her growing fury she advanced on the damn thing before it could on her. Advance or abscond. She always chose the first.

It leaped at her but her fist was already meeting its jaw in an uppercut that caught the monster off-guard. It even whined as she stepped closer upon it's wretched form, eyes narrowed.

She decided to take her rage out on this monster. It probably deserved it anyway.

Any sort of minor injury she sustained she believed she could handle anyway.

First-Person Sample: [First there is a video of the ground, before Vriska shifts it to text.]

Oh cool!

This is o8viously the first place I had in mind when I wanted to go on a fucking vac8tion. Thanks, or should I say no thanks????????

Gr8, now that we've gotten how much more of this shit I will NOT 8e taking, this is where the fun starts.

I don't care what the fuck any of you all are doing right now. If you know something, stop what you're doing and pay attention to me.

Good, now that you are, I'll feel gracious enough to introduce myself. I'm Vriska Serket, a troll from Alternia. Now that you've heard that, you will explain all that you know a8out this place, and why none of you have gotten your asses out of here sooner.

It's practically a fucking DUMP out here! It's painfully o8vious no one wants to live here willingly, and I can see there's other people here 8esides me that I know of. It would 8e a8solutely astounding to find out every single person is too incompetent to figure a way out of this mess. And while I find that incompetence is like a widespread disease, I'm thinking this is not the case!
